Sports Neuropsychology Research Group

The Sports Neuropsychology Research Group (SNRG; pronounced synergy) is an independent lab focused on research in sports neuropsychology. The goal of the SNRG lab is to collaborate across institutions to promote the advancement of sports neuropsychology research. The SNRG lab has a particular interest in best practices for the assessment and management of sport-related concussion, particularly for those with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as ADHD. We are also interested in the impact of head injury on clinical outcomes and risk for neurodegenerative conditions. In true synergistic fashion, we work with collaborators from many different institutions across the United States and Canada. Dr. Maietta serves as the Director for this lab.
